I left South Africa 45 years ago with my wife and five children. Today, all of our family is here, and we have 14 grandchildren.

I left a successful business and didn’t know how I would support my family. Our occupational therapist mentioned that there was no manufacturer in the country for occupational therapy products. I thought about it, and that’s how it all began. I consulted with professionals and others, and developed a wide range of products. I established a factory… it was good, but after 15 years, I decided to focus primarily on weighted products, and that’s how our weighted blankets were born.

In the beginning, the filling was sand, then polypropylene (PP) plastic beads, and two years ago we switched to organic glass beads because there is nothing better or more effective.

The goal and innovation of Cuddleme is to provide attractive, high-quality wellbeing products for the entire family, as well as essential products for special sectors such as people with special needs, PTSD, ADHD, sensory regulation, and therapeutic vests.

After receiving general information from a client, I tell them that price is not the most important factor, because quality, effectiveness, service, and professionalism are non-negotiable — and that is worth any price.
